How To Create An Environment That Allows for Freedom & Flow in Parenting
What if parenthood could feel less overwhelming?

It doesn't have to be this way! You can have more time and energy to "fill your cup" and focus on what you love. You can have more freedom. You can have a supportive and inspiring community, a stronger connection with your kids and a more playful experience of parenthood.
You can be surrounded by people, things and ideas that nourish you.
I've discovered that there are 3 main components that make parenting "hard":
- An environment that is working against you. This applies to your home life, your community and media -- everything in your surroundings. Many conflicts and issues can be avoided entirely by addressing this step alone.
- Not knowing where your children are at, developmentally. What do your children actually need? How do they see the world? If we don't understand and tune into our child's needs, we just end up parenting the way we were parented -- or we unconsciously do what everyone around us is doing. Both of these roads lead to conflict.
- Ignoring your *inner world*. Yes, you, the parent! Mindset, language, healing, emotional and spiritual health. Your inner world shapes your outer world in a significant way, and it also shapes your children. Our children tend to trigger us more than anyone. They bring up what needs healing within us. So it's important to give yourself (and your inner children!) loving attention.
This course is all about the first component: Environment.
By the end of this course, you'll have a solid and supportive environment that works for you instead of against you, so that you can focus on what matters most -- connecting with yourself, your loved ones and your children.
THE GOAL:
Create an environment that makes success inevitable.
In our home, we have a beautiful jade plant. When we bought it a few years ago, the cashier made it very clear that I had to use a specific type of soil with this plant, because it was a specific type of a plant -- a succulent, to be exact. It didn't matter how much willpower or ambition this plant had to grow, it still needed the right soil.
This example can be applied to anything you do in your life -- any goal you set, any addiction or pattern you'd like to let go of.
Your environment matters.
You can have plenty of great intentions as a parent, but if your environment isn't optimized to support you, you'll end up exhausting all of your resources just to get through each day.
Just like the plant and the soil, you and your environment are interdependent.
Change your environment and you can blossom into the parent you want to be.
The Curriculum:
This course is organized into 5 modules. We’re going to cleanse and optimize our home, our community, our media, our time and our mind.
HOME
Create a child-friendly home that minimizes conflict and maximizes freedom for both you and your child, optimize your sleep environment, simplify and reframe cleaning, and make mealtime easier.
PEOPLE
Understand how the people in your life impact who you are and how you experience parenthood. You will have tools and action steps for finding deep and meaningful friendships that accelerate your personal growth, even if you have hermit tendencies (like me!). We will also explore community as it relates to children -- the myth of "socialization" and the importance of modeling.
MEDIA
When we think of changing our environment to change our life, there is an important factor that many forget to consider: the media we consume. In this module, you'll learn what's really happening in your subconscious mind when you consume certain types of media (TV, movies, social). You will understand how the media you consume may be deterring you from reaching your goals and stepping into the parent and person you want to be. And then we'll flip it around! By the end of this module, you'll be on your way to consciously using media as a tool for joy and evolution -- instead of letting it use you.
TIME
We'll get right to the heart of both the "I don't have time" issue and the "self-care" issue that many mothers are faced with. You'll come away from this module with new perspectives, tools and ideas for weaving what you love into your life.
MIND
In this module, you'll bring conscious awareness to the limiting perceptions and beliefs that you allow into your mind, and replace them with perceptions that reflect the kind of life you want to live. All it takes is identifying and flipping 3 Statements and you'll begin to see things shift in your life.
Throughout the course, we will bust through the illusion that motherhood has to be "hard" and instead, welcome play and possibility.
This course combines extensive human development and parenting research with research into the art of transformation -- how change happens, how the mind works, and how we interact with our environment. I weave all of this knowledge together into a process for optimizing your environment. This course is for you if you're interested in making lasting positive change in your family.
